Hello Beautiful World,

I am starting this blog as a rain or shine fashionista to prove that there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing.

Similarly, it’s a fashion blog about clothing and accessories that are not only practical but also stylish.

In November 2011, I opened the boutique Amé Amé on 9th Street in the East Village of New York City because I recognized that most people were missing out on enjoying the rain because they weren’t carrying a beautiful, strong umbrella nor wearing the right raingear.

My experience in quality, technical, and practical clothing stems from growing up in the Northwest with a life of travel of outdoor activities.  Whereas my sense of fashion goes back to being a five year old enthralled by CNN’s Style with Elsa Klensch.

I provide honest constructive consulting advice to product developers about their wears.  Companies consult me when they desire to know what the pickiest of customers will gripe about.  Picky customers like myself tend to be the people willing to spend the biggest bucks on a quality product, but will skip buying your product for quality and pragmatic flaws like the wrong placement of a pocket.

And if you’d like to see your product featured on this blog please send me samples.  My deal is that with every product I’ll wear it to test it.  If I like it’ll write a story about it.  If I don’t, I won’t, I’ll let you know why and you can have your product back.    If I like nearly everything but do have a gripe, I allow you to pre-approve a posting with my honest criticism.

I’m generally a size Small .  a 4 or 2 on the bottom and a 4 or 6 on the top.  And my shoe size is normally a 7.

I don’t do this for free wears.  I do this to inspire men and women to dress fashionably and sensibly rain or shine.  And to buy products of long lasting quality that they enjoy actually wearing.

Rain or Shine,
Always Smiles,
Teresa (no H)
