Scottish Country Dancing. It’s a lot of fun, and I’ve never met anybody who as not been able to pick up the steps!

I’ll be dancing the reel today in prep for the Scotland Ball at the Abigail Adams Ball Room at 417 East 61st street from 7-9PM. You can join me, if you like (in casual attire—women you probably want to wear pants for your first lesson).

Looking for a nice cream umbrella handcrafted in England by Fox Umbrellas? Amé Amé is the place to find them:

Amé Amé is located at 17 W 29th St, NYC, between 5th avenue and Broadway—just across the street from the Ace Hotel.

Paid is rad

Someone ought to have said

When I see cloudy skies up above, it doesn’t get me down. I love when it rains, because it means I get to show off my umbrellas. Plaid is an excellent choice for an umbrella because its many color accents can help bring together your outfit. And having an umbrella to match anything you decide to wear can be pretty helpful on days when you don’t want to spend too much time or though on what to wear. Your umbrella will carry you!

Looking for Naot minstral boots and a plaid umbrella to try this look? You can find them at Amé Amé.
